searching the newsgroups i've found out that this is a IE7 beta 2 issue but I have been running IE7 beta 2 for almost a month with no problems. The error didn't occur until after the installation of Vista. I've searched the discussion group for solutions but i do not have a "updspapi.log" file in my windows directory. Did a search but it always hangs near the end. Maybe installing Vista wiped out the log? Also the only spyware I use is Windows Defender(which was up to date before installing Vista). I installed Vista on 6/16/06 and didn't stat seeing the error till I restarted the system on 6/17. Worked fine till then. I have IE7 Beta 2 build 5384.4. My Vista stats are in the sig. Any help would be appreciated. -- stevern77 Windows Vista(TM) Home Premium Beta 2, build 5384 Upgraded (Not a clean install)
